Biography

Nicholas Caradoc Hoult is an English actor. He began his career as a child actor, making his film debut in Intimate Relations (1996) and gaining recognition for About a Boy (2002). He achieved international fame for portraying Tony Stonem in the series Skins (2007–2008), which established his transition into adult roles. His film credits include A Single Man (2009), the X-Men series (2011–2019), Warm Bodies (2013), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), The Favourite (2018), The Menu (2022), Renfield (2023), Nosferatu (2024), The Order (2024), Juror No. 2 (2024) and Superman (2025). On television, he was acclaimed for his portrayal of Peter III in The Great (2020–2023), a performance that earned him Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy nominations. He was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2010 for his role in A Single Man.
