Noah Strausser Speer Wyle is an American actor, television director, producer and writer. He is best known for portraying Dr. John Carter in the NBC medical drama ER (1994–2005) and Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch in the HBO Max medical drama The Pitt (2025–present). These performances earned him six Actor Awards, a Golden Globe Award and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
