Russell Westbrook III is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Known for his quickness, explosiveness and intensity, he is considered one of the greatest point guards in NBA history. A nine-time All-Star and the 2017 NBA MVP, Westbrook holds the NBA record for most career triple-doubles and was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He also won a gold medal with the U.S. national team at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
