Biography

Vincent Jean Mpoy Kompany is a Belgian professional football manager and former player who played as a centre-back. He is currently the head coach of Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. Known for his physicality, tackling style, and composure, Kompany is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders in Premier League history. He is also known for his eleven seasons at Manchester City, eight of which he served as captain. Kompany also represented the Belgium national team for fifteen years, and served as captain.
